PART 5: BE THE HAPPY!
This is it! The final step in this course to Find Your Happy Code.
Step 5 to find your happy code is to be the happy.
How do you be the happy?
It is quite simple...You decide to be the happy!
Of course, this doesn't happen in a vacuum.
It's up to you to use what you have learned (and practiced) so far to create a happy feeling to be the happy---
In Step 1 you identified the societal happy code message and the various ways you have adhered to it without question.
In Step 2 you learned there are two esteems and how to make the shift from other-dependent esteem to self-dependent esteem.
In Step 3 you learned to recognize the value that you are without questioning it.
In Step 4 you learned to retrain your brain to create a new neural pathway (dendrite) to find your happy code.
Now in Step 5 it is up to you to use what you have learned in Steps 1 through 4 and decide to be the happy.
Instead of looking for your happy code in someone or something out there somewhere -
you ARE your happy code when you DECIDE to BE THE HAPPY!
Your happy code, just like your self-dependent esteem, recognizing the value that you are, and being the happy --- doesn't exist because of anyone or anything outside of you--- it exists because it is within you regardless of circumstances no matter what.
Exploration and Discovery
Here's how the final step in finding your happy code works...
Decide to be happy.
Think a positive esteeming thought about yourself.
Think another positive esteeming thought about yourself.
Recognize and accept the value that you are.
Think about your thinking (mindfulness).
Think a happy thought.
Take a breath here to think about the happy thought you are thinking. Notice that it is creating a happy feeling.
The happy thought you think creates a happy feeling.
Notice the happy feeling inside you.
The happy feeling creates a happy behavior.
The happy behavior is to be the happy!
Decide to be the happy from this moment forward.
Keep repeating over and over and over and over and over and over...
So simple!
You think a happy thought to feel happy ---
and then act it out to
be the happy!

As you decide to think happy thoughts more and more of the time...
your definition of happy changes.

YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR HAPPY CODE WHEN YOU ARE HAPPY WITH yourself, others, the world, and life regardless of circumstances, even when it appears as though there is nothing to be the happy about.
If any part of you is still thinking it is too hard to be the happy to find your happy code...you are still thinking it is hard.
Go back to Part 4 and practice, practice, practice to change your thinking and retrain your brain. It's like building a new roadmap for positive thinking in your brain.
