FESTIVAL FOCUSES ON CHOOSING HEALTHY ACTIVITIES

DURING A PANDEMIC AND BEYOND

The "Good With Me" Festival empowers all people to see their own value and to see the fun in healthy activities, regardless of circumstances. Learn to celebrate YOU at the 4th Annual "Good With Me" Festival.

This festival is more important now than at any other time in recent history.

St. Petersburg, Florida Wednesday, April 22, 2021— The 4th Annual "Good With Me" Festival, a co-sponsored event by the city of St. Petersburg, FL, is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021, 10 AM to 4 PM in Historic Williams Park in downtown St. Petersbrg, FL.

After more than a year of the COVID-19 pandemic, isolation, job loss, loss of loved-ones, eviction, standing in food lines, and fear has led to depression, anxiety, grief, uncertainty, worry, and extreme stress, for many.

Making unhealthy and even risky choices has become commonplace. The increased use of alcohol and drugs has led to increased criminal activities and even deaths. Some have experienced a sense of unworthiness, failure, and total gloom and doom which has led to an increase in suicide.

This is why a nonprofit website has been launched to make the festival available to everyone.

This FREE Family-Friendly festival is a day to connect. Its a day to get out in the community, see the good in one another, be introduced to fun, fitness, healthy activities, entertainment, food, and wares.

"The "Good With Me" festival is about celebration of the good in each and every one of you!" as reported by Lila Gross on .....WFLA.

The festival provides our youth and adults with an opportunity to explore and experience activities they may not know are available to them instead of the readily available activities that can lead to addiction, rage, violence, criminal behavior, incarceration, put lives at risk, and/or even lead to suicide.

remove?  After a virtual festival in 2020, and a live festival in 2019 with over 3000 people that filled the park with excitement and enthusiasm, we are preparing to hold a festival that rocks the park in 2021!

"Part of the "Good With Me" is just being okay with where you are and pushing your limits. We're going to teach kids not only how far they can go with rock climbing but we're going to help them get a little bit higher."

Jay Testimonial hereFounder Patricia Noll says "I want every girl and boy to have the opportunity to get their faces painted, paint on a bus, join a drum circle, climb a rock wall, learn to skate board, and much, much more, regardless of financial circumstances."

You can be the difference in the life of someone who sees themselves as worthless or as a failure due to situational circumstances or not, believes they don't belong, and feels all alone in the midst of a pandemic and beyond. It could be a family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker, or the person behind the cash register.

HERE'S HOW TO HELP:

  • DONATE: Your gift of any size can make the difference between life and death for someone who feels all alone and is in need of support.
  • VOLUNTEER: Giving to others becomes a gift to yourself. Joining our team of volunteers is a great way to connect with like-minded individuals.
  • FUNDRAISE: A fun way to be a difference-maker with a virtual or non-virtual fundraiser.
  • LEARN HOW TO CHANGE THOUGHTS AND SAVE LIVES AS A CERTIFIED "GOOD WITH ME" COMMUNITY LEADER: Learn to teach what I teach and experience how rewarding it is to lead your own "Good With Me" community groups.

Donations to the Good With Me Me Foundation make it possible for certified Good With Me Community Leaders to teach the “Good With Me” concepts to those in need who may not afford to get the help they need. They are in every community. They could be someone you know.

ABOUT THE "GOOD WITH ME" GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN MOVEMENT

Change this -----Founded in 2014 by Patricia Noll because she wanted to reach a multitude of people that extended beyond those who were in her private practice with the "Good With Me" message.  And, she wanted a way to make it available to those who couldn't afford it as well as those who could.

Her vision became crystal clear after a chance encounter with a Tampa Bay Times Journalism Intern from Afghanistan who said to her, "We have the same problems in Afghanistan." She knew at that moment that it was not a chance encounter and that there would be "Good With Me" groups in every community around the globe. She embarked on a vision that was bigger than herself...a global humanitarian movement.

"Good With Me" Day is celebrated, virtually and non-virtually, on September 21st, the United Nations International Day of Peace, each and every year in the city of St. Petersburg, by mayoral proclamation. It has been celebrated in over 12 foreign countries to date.

Because this movement requires more than one person teaching the "Good With Me" message, Noll established the "Good With Me" Community Leader Program to teach others to teach what she teaches. Individuals who successfully complete become certified "Good With Me" Community Leaders. Noll's vision is that one day soon they will be in every community around the globe.
